Weebly, where we used to host this blog, has always been a bit of a pain to use, and seems to be getting worse and more expensive. A lot of the images on the old site have somehow been replaced by more recent ones - perhaps because new images with the same file names were uploaded - and it seemed sensible to move everything onto a new platform.

Ohayaway is now static HTML generated by eleventy, served by CloudFront from an S3 bucket. Javascript for images was generated by Kiro; the back end is partly eleventy-base-blog, partly also generated by Kiro, and quite a lot hacked together by me when I decided that nothing did exactly what I wanted it to and it was going to be easier and possibly more fun to figure it out myself. Sadly there seems to be no way to get data out of Weebly more reliably than copying and pasting everything, so there may be some errors that crept in during that process beyond the ones they seem to have introduced on their own.

As explained here, the original posts have been copied across with minimal changes. Unpublished drafts have been minimally cleaned up, marked with the 2019-draft tag, and published with dates in the second half of 2019. Some of them have had contemporary pictures added; I also put a big caveat on the Cuba Logistics post in case anybody thinks it’s up to date.
