Bogotá
We had planned to stay just one night in Bogotá before catching the morning flight to Havana, but we weren’t sure how difficult it would be to get a Cuban tourist card, so we allowed four days. In fact, this wasn’t a problem at all: if you turn up to the Cuban embassy there with your passport and USD 25 each (in clean American notes, mind!) you can get one in half an hour.
Other than that, there’s not a great deal to say about our time there - we had some decent food but mostly just wandered around wishing we’d stayed longer in Medellin. Don’t buy SIM cards or USB chargers from the stalls at the airport.
